Obesity in boyhood associated with infertility in men

According to a paper published in European Journal of Endocrinology , childhood obesity is linked to an increased risk of male infertility post-puberty. The paper suggests that pre-pubescent obesity can result in shrunken testicles, which lowers the quantity and quality of sperm, leading to infertility.
