The European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) would like to invite nominations for the Castelli Pedroli Prize. This Prize is for outstanding contributions in the field of the histopathology, pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of the complications of diabetes mellitus. The prize consists of an award of Euro 8,000 and will be presented during the 45th EASD Annual Meeting to be held in Vienna, Austria from 29 September - 2 October 2009. Nominations or re-nominations may be submitted by any member of the EASD, and should be sent to: EASD Secretariat, Rheindorfer Weg 3, 40591 Düsseldorf, Germany by 15 February 2009.
