The Biosciences Federation (BSF) are requesting nominations for the 2008 Science Communication Award. This Award recognises research-active bioscientists from UK universities or institutes who make an outstanding and consistent contribution to communicating science to the public. There are two categories of Award: Category A (£500 prize): New Researcher - for bioscience researchers currently reading for a Masters or PhD, or in the first year of a post-doctoral position; Category B (£1500 prize): Established Researcher - for bioscience researchers who are beyond the first stages of their research career, as defined in category A above.
