The Department of Urology and the NYU Langone Cancer Institute at New York University Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) invites applications for a tenured Full-Professor position in prostate cancer research. NYULMC has a rich history of research excellence in prostate and bladder cancer, urinary tract infection, stone disease and genitourinary development. The department has recently been designated by NYULMC as one of the six Centers of Excellence and the Genitourinary Oncology Program is an integral part of our NCI-designated Cancer Institute. Resources are available to recruit an established scientist to lead a prostate cancer research program. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, have an outstanding track record of publications and NIH funding, and can develop/lead a multidisciplinary prostate cancer research team studying the role of steroid hormone receptors and other factors in prostate cancer.
