In recognition of the importance of clinical veterinary research to science the Wellcome Trust offers three fellowship schemes to graduates in veterinary medicine at different stages of their careers, in addition to a number of its other fellowship schemes open to veterinary-trained researchers.

The three fellowhips provide research training to lead to the award of a Masters degree or PhD (Veterinary Research Entry Fellowships and Integrated Training Fellowships respectively), or to allow more established researchers to develop their careers as independent researchers (Veterinary Postdoctoral Fellowships).

The deadline for applications to the one-year Veterinary Research Entry Fellowship is 7 February 2011, whilst the deadline for the other two is 12 November 2010. For more information please follow the link below.
