Clinical Nurse Specialist - Endocrinology (Band 7)

An exciting opportunity to join the Endocrinology team at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge has arisen, working in a six-bedded, Endocrine Investigation Unit located in a new dedicated clinic within the Institute of Metabolic Science. The post (three days per week with the possibility of an additional day for clinical research), involves undertaking dynamic endocrine investigation and providing education, specialist advice and nurse-led clinics for patients with endocrine disorders. You will be highly motivated and expected to develop specialist knowledge and expertise in the area of Endocrinology. A background and experience in specialist nursing in Endocrinology and holding/working towards a degree level or equivalent qualification would be an advantage. The post commences in March 2008 and is now advertised with a closing date of 30 January 2008.
