As of 1 January 2009, Professor Julian Davis will retire as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Endocrinology. Professor Adrian Clark, currently the Deputy Editor, will succeed him, and Professor David Ray will in turn join the journal editorial team as Deputy Editor. We would like to say a big thank you to Julian and Adrian for all their hard work on the journal over the past few years, and welcome Adrian and David to their new roles in taking the journal forward.
