Dexamethasone tablets 500 mcg in packs of 28 are now licensed and available from Wednesday 4 March 2009; Chemidex Pharma Ltd say that supplies will be with mainline wholesalers by Friday 6 March 2009. The success in ensuring the continued supply of the 500mcg tablets was the result of discussions that the Department of Health, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency NHS had held with a range of relevant parties including the Society for Endocrinology.
