The successful candidate will work within an established team of diabetes nurse specialists and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality diabetes care. You will develop the knowledge and skills to provide specialist clinical nursing advice, education and leadership within the speciality working with a high degree of personal autonomy. Optimal care will be delivered throughout all aspects of the patients care pathway in all clinical settings across primary and secondary care. Therefore an ability to communicate with a wide range of people across different disciplines in both the hospital and community environment is essential.
