There is an opportunity for a full time (10PA) Locum Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine from end of August for a fixed term period of 6 months in the first instance pending a substantive appointment being made. This post has arisen from the extensive research and teaching commitments of existing departmental consultants and the need to re-distribute the clinical work. Future substantive appointments will also offer the opportunities for teaching and research.

It is anticipated that the appointee will join the on call rota covering general medicine, 1 in 16 evening ward rounds, 1 in 8 weekends.
