The European Journal of Endocrinology prize is awarded each year to a candidate who has significantly contributed to the advancement of knowledge in endocrinology through publication.

The prize consists of a certificate and Euro7250, and will be presented at the European Congress of Endocrinology 2011 - 30 April - 4 May 2011 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands - at which the recipient will be expected to give a lecture on their prize-winning work.

Nominations will be accepted from individuals or groups. The nominee must be less than 45 years of age on 1 January 2011, and be permanently resident in Europe. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
