The Society for Endocrinology has issued a new statement on a protocol for preparing patients with catecholamine-secreting phaeochromocytoma and paraganglioma for surgery using an oral preparation of phenoxybenzamine. This statement is in response to the difficulties in supply that are currently being experienced in obtaining the licensed phenoxybenzamine ("Dibenyline") injection.
