On 13 October 2010, representatives from the bioscience and wider science community gathered in London for a presentation and discussion of the Society of Biology's newly developed Accreditation Framework.

As well as a presentation on the Accreditation Framework as has been developed by the Society of Biology, discussions took place over the current shape and future potential of the accreditation process in breakout sessions on maintaining flexibility within accredited bioscience degrees, and student placements.
