Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, the first paper from the Society for Endocrinology Congenital adrenal Hyperplasia Adult Study Executive (
CaHASE) shows that only 10% of adult patients with CAH receive specialist endocrine care, and that there is no consensus on the use of steroid replacement therapy in the treatment of the disease. The study describes a clinical need for research into managing CAH through adulthood.
