The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's UK office is inviting applications to a maternity cover position of Head of Research Communication. The position is for six to nine months starting in January 2011.

The successful applicant will work with the Director of Policy and Communications and Head of Public Affairs to promote and encourage UK type 1 diabetes research and raise the profile of JDRF and type 1 diabetes in the UK. Responsibilities include leading the effective communication of JDRF's research activities to a variety of audiences.
