The registration and examination dates of the 2011 Specialty Certificate Examination in Endocrinology and Diabetes have changed.The 2011 Specialty Certificate Examination will now take place on 1 June 2011 (previously 15 June). Entrants are eligible to sit the exam during higher specialty training after entering ST3, although it is recommended that they wait until their penultimate year of training.

UK entrants to the Certificate must now register between 2 February - 27 April 2011.

Overseas candidates must now register between 2 February – 2 March 2011.

Trainees who pass the exam will be awarded a Certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes. Trainees who gain the Certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes and who are recommended for a CCT will be entitled to apply for the postnominal MRCP(UK) (Endocrinology and Diabetes).
