This project hopes to determine the regulation and function of Neuronatin (Nnat) a gene acutely and chronically stimulated by fat-feeding, obesity and diabetes, and associated with metabolic-inflammation in adipose tissue.

A postgraduate with experience of molecular biology techniques including quantitative RT-PCR, reporter gene assays, metabolic pathway assays, immunocytochemistry and confocal microscopy is required to join the multidisciplinary team in the Division of Cancer at the Hammersmith Hospital campus, East Acton.
