The British Science Association has opened applications to its Media Fellowships scheme, which gives practicing scientists knowledge of how the scientific media functions through a three- to eight-week placement with a national press journalist.

The successful candidates will experience first-hand how science is reported, and will gain valuable writing, communication and public engagement skills.
