This vacancy at the University of Manchester School of Biomedicine studies the interaction between hormones in the stress axis and metabolism, with particular reference to the effects of diurnal changes in the stress axis on glucose homeostasis.

The successful applicant will be competent in a range of techniques including hormone and/or protein characterisation, particularly immunoassay or mass spectrometry. A PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline is essential.
