Association for Science Education Conference - Biology in the Real World Talks

The Society for Endocrinology sponsors the Biology in the Real World Symposium, which takes place annually at the Association for Science Education (ASE) conference.  This symposium is sponsored and organised by the Nucleus Group (a group of learned societies and other organisations who work together to provide free curriculum enrichment and career advice).  It aims to provide secondary level school teachers with information on new developments in biology and give examples of current research taking place in the lab.
Details of the next events will be posted shortly.

Further information and resources are available on the Society of Biology website.

In 2012, in recognition of the Olympics taking place in the UK, the Nucleus Group hosted a series of talks entitled 'Biology in the Real World: A Sporting Chance'.  Audio recordings of the presentations can be found on the BBSRC website.
